  • On average, how long will it take for the dentures to settle?

    It is completely natural to experience some discomfort or tenderness in the early stages, but this should subside within two to four weeks.

  • Should you wear dentures to sleep?

    It is recommended that you take out your dentures when it comes time to sleep. This allows your gums to have some much needed rest.

  • Is it possible to file dentures at home?

    Doing DIY filing or repairs to dentures can potentially damage them beyond repair, and a repair is much less expensive than having to purchase a brand new set. Because of this reason we always advise consulting our clinic for all repairs.

  • How do Partial dentures remain in the same spot?

    Majority of partial dentures are fixed in place through the sure of metal clasps which are attached to the teeth on either side of the gap. In some cases, a precision attachment may be recommended instead.

  • How can you make sure your dental mouth guard fits you properly?

    If you find yourself clenching or biting the mouth guard to keep it in place, then it’s definitely not the right fit. At Turramurra Denture Studio, we’ll keep resizing the mouth guard until it’s the right fit for you.

  • Will dentures change the shape of my face?

    The right set of properly fitted dentures will enhance your facial features and give you a super natural smile.
